Tulane University, CME Group, Thomson Reuters, Trading Technologies and EMI Launch Simulated Energy Trading Initiative

 
Leading names in energy markets and education—Tulane University, CME Group, Energy Management Institute (EMI) and Trading Technologies— have teamed up to offer a new series of professional training courses.  Now energy and trading professionals are able to immerse themselves in the latest electronic trading tools and test their skills using the most realistic trading simulations available.

Each Trading Center features advanced student workstations - 44 workstations at the Tulane A. B. Freeman School of Business Trading Center and 14 workstations at the CME Group Chicago Trading Center.

Every student will use the latest, real-world commercial trading software from Thomson Reuters and Trading Technologies featuring the industry’s most sophisticated and real-world trading simulation platforms. Using these platforms, students will be able to trade from more than 22 live exchange feeds, including the CME Group, NYMEX, and NYSE. 

These state-of-the-art simulators are the result of years of technology development and integration by Tulane Energy Institute faculty and industry professionals that create the flexibility to design new markets, test market liquidity challenges, and allow students to experience an unlimited series of real-world experiences that challenge the most senior trading executives.
